What's the difference between Greyhound Priority and Greyhound Standard Shipping?
Greyhound places all of their packages on passenger buses traveling around the country. Due to their size, some Power Wheels vehicles only fit on the larger buses. If a larger bus has a limited amount of space available when it arrives at a terminal, the Priority Shipment will take precedence. This sometimes leaves no room for the large Standard Shipments. It is unusual, but as a result, large Standard Shipments may sit at a single terminal for days or even weeks.Another important difference to consider is that Priority Shipments come with tracking information and Standard Shipments do not. Standard Shipments can be tracked, but it requires calling each Greyhound Terminal the package stopped at and providing them with your name and information until you find the terminal where it currently waits.

Priority shipments come with tracking information and near exact shipping times. Standard Shipments vary - sometimes greatly depending on your shipment's size and how many buses go through the destination terminal. A chart of estimated Standard Shipment times can be found here. Since larger terminals have a much larger volume of traffic, the odds of a bus of adequate size being able to deliver your shipment increases greatly.How do I place a Local Pickup order?
Local Pickup orders are placed just like regular orders with one exception. When you are checking out, you must enter ‘Local Pickup’in the 'Order Notes' section at checkout. Your invoice will show shipping; however, we will manually set the shipping price to ZERO after the order has been submitted. Local Pickup is FREE.When asked to choose a shipping method, select ‘Standard Shipping’ and ignore the price in parentheses. Please call us at 225.709.0521 at least one hour before picking up your order.
Do you charge a handling fee for local pickup orders?
No. Customers have 10 business days after purchase to pickup their order without incurring any kind of handling fee. If a customer has not picked up their vehicle within this time period, thier order will be cancelled and their money refunded minus a 15% handling charge.If you are purchasing an assembled, out-of-box unit and you want a box for it, there is a $30 box and packing fee for local pickup orders.
Do you offer a Warranty for Power Wheels vehicles or batteries?
We guarantee all of our shipped vehicles against DOA (Dead on Arrival), and we will ship any missing parts for free within 72 hours. Locally purchased vehicles come with a one month parts and labor warranty. Although some of the vehicles we sell may still be eligible for the manufacturer’s warranty, we make no promises or research to their eligibility.Brand new batteries may qualify for the manufacturer's 6 month Warranty. Slightly used batteries, like our vehicles, are guaranteed against DOA (Dead on Arrival), but do not come with a Warranty.
All DOA (Dead on Arrival) claims must be filed within 72 hours of receipt of product. Sorry, no exceptions.
Can I use my own UPS or Fedex Freight account to ship?
Sometimes. If a unit is in it's original box, you can pay to have it picked up and shipped through your own Freight account. However, know that even high-volume business accounts with substantial discounts are far more expensive than Greyhound Shipping Express. We bubble-wrap almost all of our assembled units to ship with Greyhound. UPS and Fedex do not allow this. If you want to use your own shipping account to ship an assembled unit, add $40 to your order for a custom built double-walled box.What if my vehicle is not fully functional when it arrives? What about shipping claims?
We will mail you, free of charge, whatever parts are necessary to fix the problem. If it is damage caused by shipping, we will file a claim with Greyhound and reimburse you for the damage ONCE your claim is credited by Greyhound - NO EXCEPTIONS. We do NOT insure packages. We pay for Greyhound and Fedex to insure them. If Greyhound or Fedex damage your vehicle, we will do everything within our power to expedite the claims process, BUT Tiger Imports is NOT responsible for the item once we have properly packaged and shipped it. All shipping claims must be filed within 48 hours of receipt of vehicle.What if my vehicle arrives in worst aesthetic condition than shown on TigerImports.NET?
Remember, pictures are proof. Take as many as you can for a shipping or damage claim.The first thing to check is the condition of the box. If the box has holes in it or just appears to be beaten up, it is most likely damage that occurred during shipment. If this is the case, we will file a claim with the appropriate currier and reimburse you for the damage once your claim is credited. Take pictures of the box as well (before opening is best).
The next thing to check is the run number. Depending on your model, it is usually located on a white sticker under the dash or under the hood, Make sure the first 4 digits of your run number match the 4 digits of the vehicle you purchased from TigerImports.NET. If they do not match, please let us know immediately.
If the box seems fine and the run number matches, but you still have significant damage not shown on your vehicles photos, please send pictures and a description of the damage to support@tigerimports.net.
Please note: We do our best to take pictures of all visible blemishes; however, we are not responsible for miniscule flaws outside the viewing area of the vehicle’s photos. All claims must be filed within 48 hours of reciept of vehicle. Sorry, no exceptions.
